Yair Emanuel, a graduate of the Bezalel Acadmy of Art and design, lives and works in Jeruslem. Born in Kibbutz Shálavim, he grew up in Jerusalem in an orthodox home and later in life adopted a more pluralistic approach to Judaism. This background influenced Emanuel's style of Judaic art which is based upon a fusion of traditional motifs and ancient jewish manuscripts with modern and oriental art.
Vivid and harmonious colors as well as mixture of old and new characterize Emanuel's work, which is designed and created in his Jerusalem studio.
Among his wide range of Jewish gifts you can find Hanukkah menorahs, challah boards, Shabbat candlesticks, Passover gifts and much more.
